Save Generation
Development Assoc. has built schools as planned
for students living in the poor
communities where the organization has deepen
its roots to increase the access of modern
schooling in the remote part of Oromia,
Ethiopia. The schools that are built in a short
time table with fully equipped materials are now
opened for students whose background are from
the poor farming villages.
-Dhidimtu Elementary School.
-Dhidimtu Adecha Elementary School.
-Bati Boro
Elementary School.
-(renovation
work for) Wenji Kuriftu Elementary School
-(ICT Project for) Wonji High School (giving
access to 1000
female students to have access to the internet)
SGDA gives also training to teachers and staff
of the schools
including students on the use and importance of
the internet and how to access other school
materials online which otherwise expensive to
purchase.
Save Generation issues school materials for poor students who otherwise can't afford to buy books, school bags and other miscellaneous items. This is our favorite part our job as we see happy faces shinning all over us. Our donors take all the credit and appreciation as their full hearted consideration reaches far away from their home to reach in the middle of nowhere to raise happy kids just like theirs.
