Combating Climate Change
Save Generation Development Association has a grand projects to combat the climate change that we all are facing in the world. Drought recovery project and reforestation are the most focused areas for our organization to achieve in fighting the climate change. In this regard, SGDA has been working hard in a grass root level reaching the highly affected farmers by the climate change by helping them with drought resisting seeds for the next harvest season and training them how to coop in the next drought season. The most vulnerable farmers in the lowland where they get the minimum rain in the year are usually affected year after year as the amount of rain is decrease drastically without proper advance preparation. SGDA with the help of our donors, are engaged thoroughly in supporting this sector of the population whom otherwise face famine and migration to remote areas.
With the help of our donors, the most vulnerable farmers who have the most difficulties to coop the climate change receive seeds from SGDA in case of poor harvest and drought. Fast action to reach the farmers is the most effective way to avoid famine and other catastrophic consequence.
