About Save the Generation

Save Generation Development Association is an indigenous non-governmental and non profit organization founded in 1999 by Mrs. Bekelech Demessie Rorissa to support poor communities focusing mainly on women, orphan vulnerable children, people with HIV/AIDS.

SGDA grows to become a dominant force in its domain helping the marginalized communities throughout the country, licensed at the Ministry of Justice on December 3, 2008.and again re-registered at the Agency for Civil Society Organizations upon the new legislation passed by the government in November, 2009.

Vision
SGDA aspires to see the marginalized people holistically transformed, empowered and survived.
Mission
SGDA contributes to the efforts being exerted to alleviate social, economic and political problems of the marginalized people especially by focusing on women, girls, youths ,OVC and people with HIV.
